Blind mans Bowie finished finally,wanna see?

I did these Phil,the whole knife is on the first post with the new pictures up their.I figured out I could zoom the picture on the camera to see if it was in focus,that helped,I will keep experimenting.I have to learn the editor also....

Phill,I am sending you 2 originals to play with,You should get them in a few minutes this slow computer is taking forever to send the pics out.They were taken at 5 megapixel and the best resolution of the camera.I am still learning the editor also...
Maybe you can make them look better than I did.

i guess you need bad eyes to be a good knife maker. that thing is sweet man.
you don't see enough of that style around man... keep em coming
 
Thanks for eliminating "bad eyesight" as one of my excuses for screwing things up, Bruce.

It's a great knife. The handle is unique and really cool looking. And I do like monochrome knives, so the overall effect is quite nice.
 
I may be hard of hearing but I ain't blind... that's a beauty, Bruce! :thumbup: Is it my eyes or is Donna getting younger? :)
 
Thanks for the great comments everybody...I guess it is just that since I am not seeing so well I am taking more time and paying more attention to the small details so it doesnt look way messed up.I am really hard on myself and get flustrated when things go wrong so I try to keep that from happening,still get paranoid when it comes time for final assembly as that is when I will mess up for sure....I went to the Dollar store and bought a couple of different pairs of reading glasses and have them in the shop,for the real bad days they help out allot.Even with good eyes try getting a pair that you can see the grinder with and you will be suprised how much better the knife looks when you take them off...

Clydetz,Donna got a great big smile on her face when she read your post,I think it made her day...Thank you all that post and say hi to Donna,makes her feel good as she (for some dumb reason) is thinking that she is looking old and frumpy,I keep telling her she isnt but she just says I am supposed to say that,sheeeeesh,she believes you guys though..

Tell Donna she looks great! And that knife aint half bad eigther! Realy good to see you turning out thouse bowies again, love the style, maybe oneday I'll be able to make ones like that!:thumbup:
 
Hi Bruce, That is a sweet bowie and an even sweeter wife. Donna is getting prettier every day.
Good work on the knife. Just imagine how good you can do after you get new glasses!
