ok, now looking at that blower, I realize it may actually bee too small...so I'll go with the same design but just bigger. probably the sized pipe Don Fogg in his tutorial in his site.

So my question is, AC or DC? And what size should work?

I'm gonna get it from Suplus Center cause they are pretty cheap.

i asked in a thread recently about blowers and was told that you need 60 cfm or better

Good idea. If the blower is capable of being speed controlled either AC or DC will be good. DC is almost always capable of being controlled, but will require a DC source. Many AC blowers can be controlled by a simple dimmer switch.
