I ordered a Spyderco Tenacious for my brother for a birthday present and I really can't believe this is a $28 knife. It feels as solid and well built as a spyderco military my friend has at 1/4th the cost. I didn't think it was possible to get such a high quality cutting tool for under $30. I was burned a few months ago after ordering a similarly priced Boker Trance after hearing it was built/worth more than its cost.

Spyderco continues to impress me.

Definitely a great knife. Sorry you had problems with the Trance, it is one my favorites and in my EDC rotation.

You were disappointed by a Trance? I have never heard of this happening, please elaborate.

I've been considering ordering a Tenacious and I think you may have just sealed the deal for me!

yeah im trying to cut down on my knife buying and save but this might be a nifty and cheap little knife. ive been trying to read as many review as i can.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to add a Tenacious to my usual Spyderco order and I am glad that I did. The Tenacious is a little beast of a knife that is much more heavily built than the pictures show. The liners are thick stainless and the blade has good belly and a durable tip. The fit and finish is excellent. All in all, the Tenacious has earned the Spyderco bug. Great knife.

I got a Tenacious in the mail about a week and a half ago. Awesome knife, wicked sharp - flat grind. Just awesome. The Sebenza has been sitting in the dresser since I got it. (might be b/c it's new, though).

I think it just can't be put any better, it's one heck of a knife!!

The Tenacious is a hell of a knife. Perfect intermediate size, flat grind, g10, sturdy linerlock, and I really have come to like the steel. Good edge holding and easy to sharpen. What's not to like.

Tell what the Tenacious did...got my S30V Native III sent packing to a new home with a friend.

The Tenacious is the first knife I've bought two of. My first was partially serrated and just recently purchased a plain blade. This is my top rated inexpensive knife. Spyderco hit a homerun with the Tenacious. The supervision and QC in China must be excellent. Thanks for a quality product Sal.

I am going to buy one soon after I get working again. Hope I am not disappointed as my friend was. HE said he got one but it came extremely dull. Normally, I don't care if they come dull, as I can sharpen decently, however, he said he couldn't sharpen it for some reason.

I think it was a fake, but I cannot be sure as he lives in West Va.
