Blown away by unknowing local gun store's rare Benchmades

Hopefully your enthusiasm didn't cause him to do some research. If you can afford it, I say go snatch them up. There is no reason to tell him what his product is worth in the current market. People need to remember that he will still be making a profit on each sale even if he gives you a bulk discount. He had them at the price marked based on what he paid for them back when he got them, so the profit he makes is still the same.
Don't be so eager when you go back or the price may go up! Google can be a bit@h sometimes.
Now stop reading and go.
Pictures are required or this thread will be re-titled "Hey guys, I saw a unicorn!". :D

Why did you even have to come here and ask, you should have just bought everything they had no questions asked and left. To be honest I looked up gun shops in rhode island and for about 10 minutes at work to find the shop and see if they had a website so I could buy them and have them shipped. Your lucky as a lot of them have websites but it is more or less of an advertisement not a place to shop on line. I almost just started calling the outlying locations as you said a more rural shop that was out of the way. Maybe I'll do that first thing in the morning.

If you don't buy them it will haunt you for years to come. If you get buyers remorse you can always flip them.

Look, they weren't rare when he bought them. He's mad they're still in the shop. It's not only buyer beware. It's your job to know what you're selling.

Go get them!

Thanks for the enthusiasm guys, I'm gonna head back there tomorrow with a clearer head to take some pictures and check prices. Also, the reason I even posted this thread/am giving out the name and address of the store is because I would rather it benefit the whole community than stay my personal hoard. I honestly don't love the Skirmishes so I would rather they be in the hands of a good owner than be left to rot on those shelves.

I totally forgot to mention their was also a Buck/Strider collaboration fixed blade, a Kershaw Sapphire with titanium handles, and the Steven Seagal Kershaw knife. The last one made me lol seeing it in person.

I'll send you $$. If you don't buy some you can buy some for me.

Why did you post on BF about this.....buy,don't tell us about it.:D:)

Man I would of snatched them up and then release the ones I didnt want into the exchange for someone else to enjoy. I think I need to go check some dusty gunshops

I promise you you could buy all those knives in that store and sell them here on the forums and get your money back + profit for your efforts , I myself would buy a full size skirmish from you if you had it, I had a benchmade dealer i found like that a few years back , I got the snody folder, Full size infidel, full size skirmish, and a benchmade butterfly knife, not sure what model it was it was a around 2005-2006 when i found the store, but someone broke into my house and stole my entire knife collection....

Um... you're still here wondering what to do? :D
Get them, get them all.
Especially the Skirmish's. I promise, whatever you pay, you can make a good bit off of them if you didn't like them and wanted to resell them.
On the other hand... how much were they? I may have to get up some cash and send it to you if you don't want them! Lol.
Seriously though, that would be an awesome score to get those for yourself. Do it!

Clear the guy out. You will never get a chance like this again.

Buy a new Glock while you are there as well. Both parties will be satisfied, and you need a new Glock anyway.

This....plus I would have bought both Skirmishes on the spot to keep, maybe sell the others.

Run and get them!:) I ran into the same thing when I was sent to work out in the Desert!!!! Drove around the small town and saw a knife shop advertising swords and "ninja" stuff :) I almost didnt stop, but said, what the heck! MAN!!! The place was full of rare and high-end knives. I'm talking everything from
Chris Reeves to Striders to Microtechs....you name it, he had it. He was a little old man with no internet and no computer. Been open since I was born!! I wish
I had more money and I wasnt flying home. I ran across the street to the ATM and withdrew all I could and walked out with a Strider for $100 and my old
beat up Emerson in trade. He had some really rare Puma stags and custom stuff also. I have never been sent back!!!!!! and I'm not telling either :) What a Gold
mine!!! I hope he just lives long enough for me to make it back. I should of bought the custom titanium Casper for $225 !!!

You have no obligation to tell the guy to charge more for his knives.

Buy the ones you want, and smile.

When you buy them, he will be thinking "oh boy, I just made a profit off this guy. I only paid some schmuck 1/2 what this guy just bought them for."

Do it!

Better yet tell us where it is and we'l take the decision away from you, it's causing you too much stress and as your friends I think we should do that for you. I have a pen and paper handy already and have always wanted to see Rhodes Island anyway, so....? :p
