Saw a blue G-10, plain edge, Bladeforum Native over on the 'Bay yesterday. Of course "I" was very interested in this particular specimen and decided to watch it. Was supposed to be over on the 18th. I was gonna pounce on this one. Well, I went to check on the current status this morning, and.....it was gone!!!!! Said auction ended and that the reserve wasn't met! What The Hell!??? Shot the seller a message inquiring what had happened but haven't heard back. Damn, I hate it when they do that. I'm guessing he figured out just what he had and changed his mind about selling it. Said he was a Forum member here too. Guess I'll have to keep looking for this one.

Odd, when I looked it said the auction had ended because the item was no longer for sale. That's usually an indication that the seller sold it through some other means, the item broke (highly unlikely with a knife), or was stolen. With "collectibles" of any kind it can also mean they just had second thoughts and decided to keep it.

Well, keep an eye out, the seller may re-release it for sale. I saw a known forum member do that once. Stated there were some errors in his listing, he took it off ebay. Then a couple of days later re-started a new sale of the knife.

But most likely sold it via email...
