Blue Bone?

Noticed a couple of blue jigged Schrades popping up lately, then this set came up, with a damned good sell price!

I don't have any first-hand knowledge, but heard somewhere it was a special run for Lowes that didn't work out for some reason.

had a post about these. The rope cuts blue bones did turn out to be cigar box bound with numbers like ACB72.

It was my understanding that Lowes was going to switch to Schrade. The Lowes Case knives had a special color blue bone that was exclusive to Lowes. I do not know if Schrade was just in the bidding process or what, but that was the story a year or so ago. Unfortunately, Lowes decided to get out of the higher end knife business altogether and got rid of the Case knife displays and all their stock of individual boxed knives. Lowes now only carries low end blister packed knives, mainly Chinese made, with a few low end Case knives and Victorinox Swiss Armies.

Well lo and behold a local fishing store has a bunch of PH2's iin blue jigged bone. Seems a relative is a former salesman and he's selling off some stuff. Doesn't have any of the other patterns though. I'll see if they have a website and I'll post it here.
