Blue collar users?

I was just wondering if there are any blue collar workers (construction workers, plumbers, electricians, heavy equipment operators, etc.) that use a sebenza or inkosoi as they're work edc. Anyone have any pics on the job?

I'm a Plumbing and Heating Contractor and I carry and use an Inkosi every day on the job.

Worked warehouse for many years, used my lrg insingo a few times there but something about the clip. It always seems to catch on things and come out of pocket. Can't carry it in the winter either, coat somehow catches it and pulls it out. Same thing was happening with the stock clip on my griptillian.

I'm a photojournalist, not sure if that counts but I carry and use my small Insingo daily.

Do you guys beat on them pretty hard at work? I'm a pipefitter, and do a lot of "non knife" tasks with my griptilian. Don't know if I could do it with a CRK!

I use mine for anything you would use a knife for. I have no need to use it for non-cutting tasks as I have a truck full of tools at my disposal.

Me too brother. I am both a JRY Lineman and a JRY Substation Wireman.

That's awesome. Do you do more construction or maintenance? I do maintenance and testing on pretty much anything rated for more than 600v. Been testing and learning a lot about protection relays lately. Hoping to eventually specialize in that area.

I run a mechanic shop and have carried a large insingo 21 most days for awhile. I just got a large inkosi and Ill start working it into edc. It gets used to open various packages and cuts some rubber hose on occasion.

I am a machinist/toolmaker. Sebenzas, Umnumzaan so far,..Hopefully, there is a large micarta Inkosi waiting for me before too long.
Called it in several weeks ago, so it shouldn't be too long :)

Even though it never saw much carry time at the warehouse, it has seen some heavy work. At the warehouse, really heavy plastic strapping usually requiring som lateral force, (sliding blade under the strap, twisting and cutting it at the same time to open). I recently used it to cut through some downspout while rerouting it. Not thick metal by any means but I cut a fair bit and the insingo barely dulled! I cut up a bunch of cardboard right after before bringing it inside and touching her up. I wouldn't worry about a crk and hard use.

Welder here. Carry and use both a large and small 21's and a 25.

I don't baton with mine or use it for heavy prying but I don't shy away from using it on any task where I'd use any other knife. The key is to have more than one to alternate. When one needs sharpening I grab another and touch them all up on the weekend. Which reminds me, I'll switch to the micarta Insingo tomorrow.

Self employed plumber/ gas fitter. Almost always a CRK in pocket and it does get used a lot.
