I have several replies to the fire drill method, but they would be more appropriate for W&C. I'm outa this thread.

Believe it or not, Marty Simon has a bet with me I can't light one with a ferro rod. My response? I have a nice 1/2" by 4" ferro rod and a corona machete sharpener. If that amount of sparks won't ignite or "IGNART" one then I don't know what will. By the way, you can call me The Methanator.

I've scrubbed enough of those "ferro-berries" off the sides of my knives to know that anyone able to take a shot of that - THERE.... is one tough monkey. I'll never mess with Kevin Estella.
