Purchase yourself some resin, old pair of jeans, waxed paper, few clamps, and two boards to clamp it all together and have at it. It is very easy to make. A little messy, but easy.

Hey Scott, I got your message, and through looking at your profile found this thread.
That thread Jim Poling posted was how I learned to make it as well if it's the one by Joel Bolden.


Let me see what I have here...
In blue I've got 3 planks, each plank being enough for a set of scales, I'll just hack them apart and use them as scales, or mortise them out and glue together for a hidden tang. They're thick enough.

Two are a Medium Blue Denim and one is a Indigo Denim, they were from two different batches.Comparing the two the Medium is a bit lighter and kinda has a tint of grey. Where the other is darker.

Size on the Indigo is 1 7/8" x 9 1/2" x 1/2"
Size on the Medium is 1 5/8" x 9 5/8" x 1/2"

I've got some other colors as well, and if you're after more than that, I do have fabric that's ready to be made into more. So just let me know.
