Does anyone here have any experience with Winchester or John Primble knives, made by Blue Grass Cutlery?
Are they good knives or junk?
Decent steel?
How's the craftmanship and quality?
I can't comment personally, since I don't have any experience with either brand. However, Bernard Levine has given them positive marks over on his forum.

Modern Primble knives are good quality for their price ranges. The high end Primbles have recently been mostly made by Queen and they reflect Queen's excellent standards for fit and finish. Blade steels have been good, with carbon steels in the 1095 class and stainless in the 440A class, I believe.
