Ok, i need to clear out room for some new stuff that is coming and i have tons(literally) of this stuff. I figured i would offer some to make room. All wood is natural(unstabilized)
First is a set of very nice, solid, check free blue fossil mammoth bark scales. they are 4.5 inches long, 1.03 at one end, 1.15 at the other. center thickness is around .30
price is $125
Ok next we have Walnut blocks. Rather than have to type measurements, i measured them with calipers and have them under the pics.
First set. 5 blocks, good figure lightly wet to show grain. These were cut from a block i had drying for 8 years, and have been cut for about 3 months. Price is $75 shipped.
Next set is 4 blocks of the same stuff. dimensions are pretty much the same. $60 shipped
Next we have some exceptional desert ironwood burl. Stuff like this is getting hard to find. blocks are 1.1 x 1.6 x4.95 inches. It is hard to get good pics of this stuff, i might try to get some outside to show the pins and grain. Block#5 has a small angle in one end. Price $75 per block
Next is walnut scales. Dimensions are 6.5 inches long, 2.2 inches wide and are .355 thick. On set is .250 thick. There is some slight warping to them, but i will package them tight. I had them clamped and it took the warp out of them, but the warped when i wet them for pics. Only one set is wet for the pic. All of them, $50 shipped
Next is some curly maple.Nice figure, pic doesn't do them justice. .89 thick x 2 wide x 5 long. $40 shipped and i will toss in a set of Bocote scales with them.
Last is Locust burl blocks. These have amazing figure, some of the coolest burl i have seen. These are not stabilized, but are super dense and don't pick up much weight when they are stabilized. It is a great natural wood, and lasts outside for hundreds of years. Price is $40 per block.
Please feel free to ask any questions, i will try to answer them as soon as i possibly can. PM for payment info.
