This is a great folder with awesome mammoth ivory. Fully fileworked liners, backbar, thumbstud and screws. The liners have been anodized a gold color and the screws have been heat colored gold. Excellent fit, finish, and action.

The only thing I can say is, "Wow." That's a hell of a piece. The filework on the spine is fantastic. I like the long repeat in the pattern. The damascus and mammoth are gorgeous.

That was a truly beautiful piece. Was the ivory hard to work with? I'm assuming it's real ivory and being mammoth I'm assuming old - was it brittle or anything or was it stabilized? The file work is amazing.
