Blue Manix

They are gone now. They are still taking back orders unlike most other stores which have taken it down because the waiting list is so long. I'm on the list but whether they get enough to fill all the orders is unknown.

I preordered from the "shoppe" during the brief period they had them up for presale and haven't heard anything. Sent a couple emails too. It ain't looking good.

For whatever it's worth I just ordered mine last Thursday, when the status showed up as back-ordered. It shipped yesterday. If you want one you might as well order and see what happens.

I like Bradley just a little more it has very nice finish , liners polished , amazing texture on CF and I am sucker for good CF ,it really looks like hi-end folder ,
manix has better lock , very good fit and good finish ,very comfortable easy to close and open can be done with one hand .
both knife are great cant go wrong with ether , if you cant get FFG manix , go for Bradley beautiful blade .

Trix, I see you also own a Gayle Bradley.

Could you compare the two knives? I want both (not to mention a Stretch) but can only budget for one.

bradley weighs more, and is liner lock... albeit I have not owned one, but I would buy the manix first...

Mine arrived today. One word.....WOW !!!!

If you have to sell something in your collection to buy one of these...DO IT...now; the're that nice ! This going to be one of the most sought after Sprint Runs. Mark my words.

Like him or not, I think nutnfancy on Youtube is quite an influential figure in the knife world nowadays, and he gave this knife a perfect score. That alone will mean that the sprint run will sell out fairly quickly IMO.

I too received my blue Manix today, and it is one hell of a knife. In many respects I think it's the most honest, practical largish working folder I own (followed by my G10 Tyrades). It's a great design, and beautifully crafted of high-quality materials, for a very fair price. It's too bad it's a sprint run in a way, because I probably won't actually use it much (not that I'm really one to use large folders that much anyway), but it's a stellar design all around.

just received my manix 2 today!

great knife.. solid construction, no bladeplay, perfectly centered.. a tad bigger than i expected though!

Love this blade... making it my new EDC... screw collecting it... too good to pass up and about the only thing that makes me not regret selling off my blue xm-18...

this is a great knife. i have one that i use daily, and i am selling one of my other ones if anyone is interested. PM me

Another one of Eric G.'s babies. He has excellent taste in knives, IMO. They're always ergonomic, and well thought out, and quality is first class.

If we could only get him to make larger runs of the popular ones like his M2 sprints. I really dislike having to get on several lists to get one, and the calling around, reminding people etc.

After the S90V sprint I said "no more"!. Yeah, right.

Yes, I'm already trying to get a position for the CTS-XHP sprint. I may be feeling a compulsion to do whatever I have to to insure at least one but that doesn't mean I can't grumble. :(
