Blued Beckers

Yeah , I made that Necker sheath and the one for the 7 also. My new hobby!
 
I blued my 14 this week.

Very nicely done! Anybody ever use Vance's gun bluing? My gunsmith claims it to be better than perma-blue, but I have no idea. Just trying to look before I leap into this.
 
I have also heard that permablue is on the bottom of the blue scale, but its all I ever had access to
 
Lookin good. Gotta get off my lazy azz and dig that gun blue out of whatever ? tub.
 
Yeah, I heard that Brownells is better, but I came across a bottle of the PermaBlue so I got it.

I actually batoned some tree limbs shortly after these pictures were taken and didn't see any significant wear.

It has made my knife smell bad.
 
Lol, knife smell. Yeah, I'm not knocking any blue or anything, just asking for experience.
