Once you strip the finish, I guess this decarb layer remains, it is not removed with the stripper? What is it, is it another application of undercoat finish in itself that can be blued or just a "roughing" treatment on the steel itself like glass beading?
this is cool as well. I thought the decarb layer was a little rough?
