I recently bought a bluegum table. Each piece of the table, the legs, the chairs etc. are 50mm thick solid slabs and it weighs a ton!!!

Looks good with Infi on it too...

Nice! I think you have to park your INFI, SR-101 and SR-77 IN the table!
Call it testing penetration abilities of the knives ;)

Nice table, mate!
...But don't let your MOAB see it!! Ya know that to the MOAB...all wood tastes good and it might not be able to control itself! ;):D

I did think of getting it out for yet another shoot, but that thought did cross my mind. Whilst I don't mind the odd scratch and ding in furniture like this, I would mind a 1 inch gouge!!! :D

Nice. Did you get it from the markets? I had something similar at my old place. Was made from a camphor laurel that I had chopped down in my back yard. It was over 100 years old. I needed a crane to just move it's position on the outdoor area. It had to stay at the old place when I sold the house, as the crane and rigid truck made it cost prohibitive when I moved.

Keep the oils up to it and it will look good forever.

Chris.

Great looking table! I used to work in a wood shop for 3 years and really miss it.

Stunning! I've never heard of Bluegum before.Love the live edge. Does anyone use this stuff for scales?

Gorgeous Rob. You didn't happen to get it from a gentleman named Dave in NSW by any chance, did you?! Looks a lot like his work...
