Bluegum & Infi

Nice table, but you need to move it a little to the left, and turn it around. Go ahead, I will wait while you do that......

Nice. Did you get it from the markets? I had something similar at my old place. Was made from a camphor laurel that I had chopped down in my back yard. It was over 100 years old. I needed a crane to just move it's position on the outdoor area. It had to stay at the old place when I sold the house, as the crane and rigid truck made it cost prohibitive when I moved.

Keep the oils up to it and it will look good forever.

Chris.

I had it made by a guy I met at the Big Pineapple Markets. He does all custom stuff to size and shape. I've got to put some tung oil on it today in fact :)

Gorgeous Rob. You didn't happen to get it from a gentleman named Dave in NSW by any chance, did you?! Looks a lot like his work...

I had it made by a bloke who has a stand at the Big Pineapple Markets. Kerry was his name, he works out of Brisbane. Makes some wonderful stuff!

Table/ bomb shelter.......Australia does not have a lot of wood but what it does have is very impressive. Rob, you have good taste.......and that is something you can't buy.

I am going to read up on that wood to see about getting some for handle slabs.

Garth

If you offered stabilised Australian Bluegum I'd be putting an order in for my first Custom Shop tomorrow.

Chris.
