Anyone had success blueing (blackening) aluminum? I'm considering trying it on the scales of a Leek or Chive... I'm curious how well it would wear over time.. or not
No matter what the type of anodizing, the layer is thin hard, and brittle. Anodizing aluminum is not inexpensive. It can be done at home, but requires more equipment than is practical for a knife or two.
