Well, I figured that some quick and dirty images were better than none at all so here's a gander at the six knives that I came home with from Atlanta. (The standard warning that my images don't do justice to the knives applies heavily in this instance.) (See posts 30 & 31 for updated images of the customs.)

Case 4 Dot, 61051 LSSP, Lockback, Jigged Wood (with thanks to Randy W):

So there you have it. Now if I could only get Uncle Sam to hurry up and send that darn "stimulus check"...;)

There is some serious stag in that group. I keep scrolling up and down trying to decide on my favorite. My scroll wheel is starting to overheat and I still can't decide. Ya done good Mr. Blues. Really good.

Thanks, Rob. As I already mentioned to you and Ford, your presence was sorely missed and it'd have made the "Show" that much better. Let's try for next year. RPBM needs a fully attended corporate convention. ;)

Nothing against Elliott's photog skills, but I held everyone of the above knives and they really are much better in person. Nice snags.

Yep, I wasn't lying. :p

The weather was very uncooperative out this way today as was my Weimaraner who was needing major attention after a few days at "boot camp". ;)

Every one of those knives is beautiful especially the ones by Joel, Mike and Jerry.

Nice haul Elliott!

No wonder you were smiling the whole time I saw you, great scores, some really fine Blade Booty. I hope I have as much luck next year. Lord Willing and the creek don't rise.
Congrats,
Jim

Wow Elliott! Those are some fine new additions to your already impressive collection.

I think I like that saddlehorn the most out of that group, although they are all beauties.

Nice to have you fellows "back on the porch" and sharing the gab again. :)

Rob, try a little bear grease on that scroll wheel. :p

Nice additions to your collection Elliott!! That Winchester 2923 is a cool knife and really nice bone, color and Jigging.

Ken

You've Got Taste and a great Eye Elliot
Those are Banging

Riad, that's quite a compliment coming from you. I can't even begin to describe the "wow factor" that your recent acquisitions possess. I hope you'll share 'em with others here when you can.

Thanks to you all for the kind comments. I'm sure the makers will appreciate it if they happen to make their way over here.

Those are fantastic Blues not matter what you say about the pics...I do have a solution though, you just need to have an open house for all of us bladeforumites so we can see your beauty's up close and personal...:D

Thanks for sharing,

Sunburst

Elliot, major score! I'm having a lot of trouble picking out a favorite. I guess I'll just have to keep looking. :)

You sure brought home some drop dead gorgeous knives, Elliott!
Great looking Stag! Mike Zcherny, Jerry Halfrich & Joel Chamblin make a flawless slip joint! They are great Fellows as well!
Nice scores, my Friend!!! Thanks for posting & sharing, Elliott!

great pick ups! The more of Halfrich's knives I see the more I like his work. Thankfully i'm on the list!

Mike Zscherny: reading lots of great reviews on his work. Very nice!

That little bit of leather is all that knife needed !!! Looks great Blues..I will let you know on the other knives..I plan to be in Chicago some time this month and will get back with you..

XOXOXO...

Randy

That Halfrich Hunter was really sweet, I chicken eyed and coon fingered it (or one just like it) :) very smooth and easy to open.

Randy,

Thanks! I touched it up just a little last night with a ceramic hone. Better but not quite all the way there yet.

Definitely keep me posted and we'll chat via PM, email or phone before you go.
