Yesterday I concluded a transaction with Blues for the purchase of a PJ Tomes - Scagel style hunter. This was my first purchase from a
Bladeforum posting and I was a little apprehensive. Blues and I
exchanged a few e-mails working out the details and the deal was
struck. Great communication at each step, which made my first
experience a pleasure. I got the knife yesterday. I had to give the
blade a quick wipe down because in order to ensure I got the knife in
good condition, Blues had applied a coating of Premium Goat Grease Extract, the blade protective of choice among the elite of cutlery aficionados east of the Mississippi. All kidding aside, Blues is a good man, rest assured.

By the way, that premium goat grease extract comes from my good buddy Gus' finest extra virgin (read: extremely ugly) goats. If there's anyone that knows his way around a goat, it's Gus! :D :p

All kidding aside, Blues is definitely one of the good ones and you got yourself a hell of a knife in the process. I gave some serious thought to that knife but the Blade Show was just too close.
