Recommendation? Bluetooth headphones

I've been wearing my Bose QC35 headphones about 6 hours a day for 4 years now and absolutely love them. They cut down noise enough for me to use them in the shop without issue. I listen to podcasts and audiobooks more than music when I work, but they sound great either way. Just yesterday I finally replaced the stock ear pads due to the leather degrading where it rubs on the stubble near my ears.

I also use the Bose QC35 very regularly. I'm a software engineer and wear them 6ish hours a day when I'm working, and I've started wearing them in my shop most of the time. They do a good job of reducing the noise from power tools, enough so that I can run any tool (even my super loud porta-band) comfortably. I'm frequently listening to a book or podcast or music when I'm in the shop, though sometimes I just have on the noise cancelling with no audio so the headphones act as very comfortable ear protection.

Bose! I don't wear them much in the shop anymore, but they are great for mowing the lawn an and cutting up wood.

I am also in the Bose QC35 camp, though I wear AirPod Pros more in the shop as they fit under my hearing protection for my Versaflo.

I have a very early pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones (not wireless unfortunately). I got them for work back in something like 2006 - 2008, and they are still going strong! (I did replace the ear pads though). Best work productivity tool I had ever bought! I have not though about using them in the shop, but might give it a try after the comments posted here....

Another vote for the 3M Worktunes. Mine have performed excellent since I got them. The hearing protection works well enough that I usually cannot hear the wet/dry vacuum running :)

I've recently gotten a pair of Soundcore q30's. $80 with active noise canceling and bluetooth 5.0. They have great range, last 40 hours with noise canceling and 60 without. Are they as good as the sony or bose noise canceling? No, but they are less than 1/3 the price and sound great.

I did lots of research before I choose them.

I use a pair of the AM/FM worktunes muffs by 3M. I think they were about $45. If I want to pair with my phone, I have a separate bluetooth adapter that I plug into the aux jack. They work great.

My only complaint is that they drain the AA batteries even while the headphones are off. I need to get some rechargeables to use with them one of these days.

I have some Mpows I got off amazon I've been impressed with. I forget the exact model as I've had them for a few years. Been pretty good for the price.

I use the Sony WH-1000XM3 which are both Bluetooth and noise canceling and they are amazing. I use a 50cfm air nozzle on my air compressor with them on and it mutes the noise enough to not be an issue. They also work great with my breathe easy helmet :)

Do all these BT headphones have low latency for watching TV? Will they work to have two headphones connected for TV watching with low latency? The wife and I both love headphones for watching TV. She uses BT and works good with a single headphone connected. When the 2nd headphone is connected the signal drops syllables and words. I use a RF wireless headset while she uses BT and things are good.

I'd like to have both headsets BT.

Those Bose 35 are like all Bose stuff - EXPENSIVE!!
