I was just curious if I blue my spydie, would that void the warrenty?

I was under the impression that bluing would not work on stainless steel. Could be wrong though. Wouldn't be the first time and wont be the last.

there are ways to blue and parkerize stainless steel, but i have to ask, what's the point? blueing is a controlled rusting, done to prevent further rusting. stainless is already rust resistant, so why would you want to? and yes it probably would void the warranty since heat is involved and many things could go awry in the wrong hands.

Leroys is correct in that if you "cook" the steel too much, you will change the heat treat which will ruin the knife and the warrantee.

oh I did not know that I was thinking of cold blue (mainly I just wanted an all black spydie and re blue the clip as well)
