Hi guys,
So i just finished heat treating some D2 blades. I quenched them between some angle aluminum. The thing is there are areas on the blade where it is blue or purplish...I'm not sure what that means. The rest of the blade is kind of a flat grayish color. Does that mean those areas didn't quench correctly? If so, is there any way to correct it so I don't have areas where it's soft?
Thanks guys!
