Blur... FINALLY!

I've always wanted a Blur and I have owned my fair share of Kershaw knives. But I never pulled the trigger on one. Go figure?

Finally! This past weekend I parted ways with a Manix 2 Translucent Blue (which I didn't care for) and a Leatherman Sidekick. Low and behold, there were 2 Blurs (Desert and Olive) heading my way via the exchange. What was I waiting for? Seriously? I LOVE THESE KNIVES! I went ahead and deassisted one of them after reading about it on this board. I think I like it better without the assist, but I'll probably keep each one different just to have some variety. Since these knives have been out for quite a long time, no initial review is necessary (especially since I've carried them a grand total of one time). But I believe they will be eating up some pocket time for the foreseeable future.

My only concern now is that I might start to become one of those rabid Blur collectors... My poor wallet :D

Every single time someone brings up a Blur thread/conversation, lol.

In all seriousness, the Blur is a great folder. I've got a Desert Sand one and I also de-assisted it. Love it.

You should get a CF Blur. It's a religious experience.

I saw yours with the tapped out holes for the deep carry clip from a 1870... Outside the fact it was on the wrong side, I was a little jealous :p Ok.... A lot jealous.

I love my blur. As soon as I opened it for the first time I started thinking of my next one.

Get 2 of each of these and call me in the morning. :D

Lol stick I would never hold a knife collecting intervention (too hypocritical), but you just might be on track for a cf blur intervention.

I like Blurs, but they just aren't my thing. I have 2, and one of them (a blem) I had some issues with. Blade play, liner lock failing repeatedly...

I like my blurs, but still prefer my leeks.... Cb and g10 r great....then again have never carried a cpm154 blur. Maybe that's a better knife, what i have heard anyways

You heard correctly. Any Blur with CF inserts feels like a totally different knife. It's a bit unbelievable at first, but now when I hold both the CF and S30V Blurs, I wouldn't classify them as the same. The interaction with the hand makes all the difference.
