Thomas also said (in that same thread, I believe) that the project had been cancelled. I understand these 50 are just an unforeseen bonus.Quote from Thomas.
Well here are some images of the upcoming S60V Blur. There will be right around 400 pieces of these made. Should be ready to ship late next week. This will eat up the last of our S60V. We went back and forth on the anodizing, but think this turned out rather well. Hope you all like it.
MSRP $139.95.
NGK link in the above post says that "Only 50 will be made". Kind of miss leading when Thomas says around 400.![]()
Does that mean that there will be 350 or so 2nds at this years sale? If so we will have to see if some one that lives close will help us out. I know that I would buy 2 maybe more. Better yet maybe Thomas could work something out for the guys on bladeforums.![]()
We had another big issue drop on this project late in the day...will keep you all posted.
They may get destroyed at this point, not sure.Does that mean that there will be 350 or so 2nds at this years sale? If so we will have to see if some one that lives close will help us out. Pfft. Just have a huge giveaway.
if they have a giveaway it could cause massive legal complications if the knives were deemed unsafe...(QC wise).
everyone would have to sign a waiver that they understand that these knives will not be under any type of warranty and should not be used for any generally accepted knive uses......
can you imagine that hassle?
however. that being said. if at all possible, i would like to see the 50 that passed QC see the light of day, and those seconds (at least a few of them) make it through the kershaw sale.
i have a JYD I second that as far as i am concerned is just as perfect in fit and finish as any kershaw ive ever owned. honestly kershaw's standards are so strict that their seconds are equal in if not higher quality than their competitors...
