BLUR S60V...NGK has a few, but not for long!

Aww, $140 knocks me out... I'll just have to order a R.A.M. or another Kershaw.

Hey, this is off topic, but which Kershaws have a flat ground blade?

some of them. now what are you asking that for! we have a crisis on our hands!

Thomas, I'll sign whatever waiver, pay shipping and then some for you to not destroy a few of those blurs.

And I already canceled my order and asked for a refund. This turned out to be an unintentional april fools trick on us that lusted after it.

It's better than putting a product on the market that will have people howling in anguish over some either chipping from too high rc, or bending from too low. Joe

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

OK.....as of Thursday morning 03APR08, only 10 will be released. They are to be shipped to us today from Kershaw. We expect delivery end of next week. Standing pre-paid orders will be shipped out in the order recieved, while supplies last, once the knives are in house. BTW, there are still some available.
Regards, Mike

Yep this is true, only 10 made it out to of factory. These S60V Blurs define the term "short run".

Sorry about all the confusion everyone, but we just had to ensure the knives were perfect before they left the factory.

Thanks for the update Thomas...when I saw that you'd posted to this thread, I was hesitant to open it. It's really a shame that you guys went thru so much for this run, and only 10 made it out. Now I've gotta wait to hear if I made it to the top 10 list or not! Man, I hope so!

I know I appreciate it. While disappointed, I'm sure ya'll are much more so. I'm not sure how ya'll keep the pace you do.

I don't think I'll be able to pick up one of these, but I love the look of the knife. I think it would be a good color scheme for a 14C28N Blur.

There was no heat treat issue with the steel on these Joe.

Thanks Thomas. No offense meant. My S60V 1580st has a perfect heat treat. I was making an example and it wasn't a very good one. Won't happen again. Joe

I agree.

It's too bad that only 10 of these really worked... I'll just have to buy 2 other Kershaws to make up for it.:D

Dang, that's a small number. Please use this color handle for future runs! please! Something like an OD handle, trac tek, new 14C28N steel, TLC coated.
What would be good for a limited run though is something like this:

Olive Drab handle with the Track tek, but with a Black S30V blade and stud lock.
The new tactical blur.
Oh man I would be one of the first ones to buy it if a blur like this came out.

(please Thomas? can you submit this suggestion?)

Well, they would have to redesign the Blur to do that... it would end up costing a lot to produce, and thus cost a lot to for us to buy.

I don't think that will happen, because even just adding a stud lock would take a lot of extra work. It is far more practical for a company to just use a pre-existing design, and better materials.

I KNOW we're both good to go! I may even wind up with 2!

i can't afford two, even if it were remotely possible.....i don't know anyone at moteng, but i think i might have to if i get a raise. besides, i still need a ram and a groove and a shallot...and a.......oh crap this is happening again
