How old is the one you've got? The new style inserts aren't that bad. The old skateboard grip tape (pre-2005?) ones definitely are rough on the pocket.
My 0560 though has been just as rough on my pockets it looks like just due to the angle of the seam and the angle at the end of the pocket clip. Obviously
this is as much about the pants I wear as the knife. I replaced the clip with one from another knife (I won't say the company because it isn't fair they get
requests for clips for a knife they didn't make) and so far it has been easier on the pocket. This clip also places my fingers in a slightly different spot making
it less likely I apply pressure to the lockbar when opening so I don't have to be so mindful about my monkey hands placement on the 0560 handle. Sorry, I
