Blur Torsion Bar Worn Out?

I would give Kershaw a call. While it isnt covered under their warranty, Im sure you could get a replacement part if need be.

I will tomorrow. It was weird because it snapped into place, I released it and now it has no snap at all. It is completely manual now. It doesn't rattle though so how do I know if it's broken?
 
Torsion bar broke, you can email them for parts, or send it in if you're not comfortable taking it apart yourself.

Have you been opening and closing it repeatedly many times in a row? ;)

Not really. I've had it for three weeks and I don't play with it too much. Probably about 20 openings a day.
 
If you aren't comfortable replacing the torsion bar , please don't send it to Kershaw , send it to me and I will handle it for you. I don't want blems going back to kershaw. I would be happy to help you with it.

How difficult is it? I can tear down and clean a gun. Is it easier than that?

Probably. The it can be tricky getting the handle back on with the washers in place and the new torsion bar in it's holes, but nothing that takes more than a few minutes of fidgeting to work out.
