Hi everyone,
I am new here and was wondering where is the best place to
get a BM310 ? I want a small knife for work(engineering) and I think the BM310 will work for me. Where can I get a good deal ? If it's against the rules to post vendors, please email me.

Thanks,
Ram

What kind of work will you give it ?

Engineering with one only blade ????

I am engineer and I used my Leatherman Wave, Leatherman SideClip, SAK Trailmaster a lot and my BM31 just for fun.

;) :D

It all depends on your cutting needs. The 310 is a very thin light gent knife with a fairly strong lock. Personally I like the blade shape with it's sheepfoot blade and high hollow ground.
Check one out in person if you can,
Matt

I am really only going to use the knife for opening boxes,envelopes... and as a carry knife with my dress pants. All the ones I have are too large, so I am looking for a small light use knife. I thought about just getting a small Case knife for this, but I like the high tech materials used in the BM310. So where on the net is a good place to buy one ?

Thanks,
Ram

the 310 will handle that chore just fine as would the t10 william henry.the levitator is a cool little knife.the william henry is an elegante little knife, both are nice.

I recently got a Benchmade 330/PE by Mel Pardue. I use it in the exact same manner that you intend on using your next knife. I may be wrong but I think that it is a little more substantial than the 310 though I may be wrong. The scales are Titanium and G-10. The blade can be had in either PE or CE. It may be worth your while to take a look.

I don't have a need for the 310, but find myself wanting one anyway. I didn't care for the looks at first, butit's growing on me.:) Shop around on the web for a decent price, then I believe that 1SKS will price match. That way you can get a great knife and a great price and support the forums. Please keep us posted on what you find.

I JUST got my benchmite last week. I've wanted one for a while and I found the best place for this particular model to be New Graham Knives.

On a side note to your search for a pocekt knife, I might recommend you look at the BM921 Switchback. It has both the small easily used blade, and the larger blade for when a 2" blade just won't do...
