Boy, with how light this thing is i think itll take a LOT of getting used to, my current carry weighs just over 7 oz. sounds like the 42 is going to be allmost half of that! Im just afraid itll flip out of my hand and ill have to chase it around the room Zero-G style

Yeah, I agree. But I think once you get accustomed to it you'll love it.

I personally think I'll be able to double my speed on things like that Double Bali machinegun "thing" that I love to do.

I'm pretty psyched!

I've had a pleasure to play titanium handled balisong with 5" blade. It rotates open/ close just as easy as ordinary 4 incher, and easier to catch the handle with more length. So I guess 4" bali with titanium handles would be as fast as 3 incher, with longer and easier handles.

Maybe a well-balanced bali weighs more in its blade than its handles. If the handles get heavier, it will be a more difficult one. Instead, if the handles get lighter and/or shorter compared to the blade, it will get much easier. When you start opening it, at first the "other" handle will fall by the gravity followed by the blade. If the handle fall proceeds the blade enough, you can grab the handle to start pull rotate up earlier. If the handle takes the blade longer, it will delay your timing to grab the handle for any action.

Well... #42 must be great. Or I'll help you rid of yours for free.

Keep in mind that it's not just a matter of when BM starts shipping 'em. Demand has dramatically exceeded expectations and supply. (Keep in mind that it's not just a matter of BM making more as they had to order materials, etc., based on estimates of what demand would be and there are lead times on those orders. So, even if BM wanted to double production tomorrow, they can't because while they may have the capacity to do so, they can't necessarily get the materials they need to so.) The result is that when you get yours will depend on where your dealer sits on BM's list and then where you sit on your dealer's list.

Let's just say I know where I sit.
