Got to play with the new Benchmade Balisong today at the local range. having only handled cheap POS balis in the past, I was blown away by this puppy. nice light weight, handles great and has a nice lockup...

I can't tell you the discipline it took not to buy it (or the glock 20) If he'd had the plain edge version, I might not have been as lucky.

MSRP is $160, street value of about $110-120. Can get it for less, but not yet, as shippments to most interned dealers has not started yet.

It's an interesting system isn't it? The retailers have all the knives and the internet dealers have all the orders. We have orders for 485 BM42 and 42S at the moment and aren't likely to get any at all this year. This retailer has one unsold sitting on a display. It is truly baffling. Take care.
