BM 551 Full Size: love the blade but grips?

I like a good size blade with a fairly heavy feel. After looking at a full size Griptillian yesterday I love the blade S
Size and shape. It is such a feather weight though. Wondering if I buy one if it is possible to do something to give it more weight.

Since the handles are hollow and fairly easily removable, you should be able to add weight without too much trouble.

Somehow I thought they were removable without splitting down the center. In that case maybe some round lead fishing weights would work.

Or Cuscadi scales maybe, if you want to spice it up (they are wayyyyy beyond my budget, so I just drool! )

Or you could check out the Spyderco Manix 2. Its a pretty similar size, but has a bit more heft to it.
