Does or has anyone made a 710 into an Auto? I love the 710's and would like to have an auto version for my drawer.

i have thought about an axis auto for a while, i think that it is possble. I think that another notch could be cut into the tang and this would allow the knife to be locked in the closed position then when the axis is released the knife would spring open, that way there would be no cosmetic difference between the auto and the manual. the best way to spring it would be with one of those coil springs from the Socom E
 
Danged good idea! I was thinking about a hidden lock but being that I buy and not (yet) make knives have no idea how to go about ruining one to try it :D

If anyone knows what a Dalton Scalper looks like, then you can get this to work.
