I saw at some online knife stores that they were selling the BM 730 Ares with black G-10 handles, while the BM website shows that one of its montly collectors items is the Ares with G-10 black handles. On the BM website its model name was still 730, so I am wondering whether this will only be out for a limited time or it here to stay. I know many of you will say why would you want a knife with boring black G-10 handles, but I just want this to be cleared up. Anyone know? Thanks

I don't know how to answer your question, but whaddya think about having black/green instead of black/purple. THAT is the one that I want, if I can track one down!!

Anyone know where to find one? Nov. knife of the month.

The black/green G-10 handles sound cool too, but I also want to know about the one with black G-10 handles please help!

Auctions probably over by now but I saw a green/black Nov KOTM on Ebay. Last I saw it was around $110+/-.

Hey EiNLaNZeR, have you tried www.1sks.com ? They have them (the black g10 ones) listed there in the Benchmade section.

For those of you still looking for the Green/Black ones, I'm sure that they will soon be flooding into ebay. They always have lots of people trying to sell off the KOTM knives. Usually for less than the regular issue knives retail for. Watch for a while, then grab a good deal.

I would assume, that since the Black handled ones have their own number, they will now be regular production. They should be here to stay.

Thanks y'all. I recently received my BM 732 from http://www.knifeoutlet.com It was the cheapest place I could find that sold them. Anyways, its an excellent knife, except its a little dull when it came, at least for me. But Sharpmaker did the trick
