To follow this train of thought, the 14205 is a working, gents knife. Sucker is tough, but nice. I'd rather have the look of the 14210 in the 205 size, but hey, can't have it all.
I think the 940 is a worker that looks good. I don't know if any of those knives could be called "gentlemen's knives". It's definitely the least threatening of the bunch.
IMHO, the 710 is the finest design Benchmade ever produced!
Especially more so when purchased in M2 steel or in a few days, some of the new M4 steel will be sold with the 710 model.
The recurve only helps with the cutting action of the blade. The 710 is a drop point and the overall strength of the design with the Axis lock and G10 only makes me appreciate this knife even more.
All in all, my bet is that once the new 710 in M4 becomes available, it will be a very desirous knife.
Heck, even the M2 steel in the 710 will continue to be in-demand by those who know and appreciate classic knives.
