Well I got this recently from a good buddy that waited a long time to have it converted. I hate to have to sell it. The handles are custom red G10 conversions with the back side converted to threaded receivers like on new Stryker models. No stripped G10 possible here unlike the original 970 design. Hardware is all black and new.
The regrind is fantastic and I don't know how Tom does it without scuffing the original finish. The bead blasting is clean after the regrind. It is almost a zero grind with just a very small bevel for easy resharpening. Lockup is great and right at 50% engagement.
ALL the original parts are included. Black stock G10 handles, screws, clip and such. This was a mint knife that was converted and it still is.
