BM Mini-Griptillian

Being new to knives, I'm trying to purchase as many EDC folders as possible, to determine which brand(s) I might want to concentrate on. So far Benchmade is the brand I have purchased most - a couple Mini Griptilians and a Mini Barrage 586 (along with my old school Case knives). The Leek is a nice knife. And I have a Sage 1 on it's way to my home. But the Mini Griptilian is the only knife of which I own two - so far. I suspect I'll own several more Mini Grips with various configurations and handle colors.

I have found the serrations somewhat helpful when cutting through some tough cardboard. But I like the appearance of the plain edge better.

I'm not exactly sure what a Tanto blade is for compared with the drop point of the two Mini Grips I own, but I think it will be my next purchase.

I'm a member of other forums where we tend not to start new threads on old topics - but rather resurrect old threads, so as not to clutter the site. I've noticed many new threads here of repeating topics. So not sure which is better.
