BM Mini Rukus Photo review/my thoughts *warning 55 pics - bandwith intensive*

Nice pictures and review.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did the mini rukus cost?

Hey Lachy I think I put it up the top, but no worries if you missed it, I got it for $190 Aussie bucks, and this kinda seemed a bit much but as soon as I got it, I knew it was money well spent. Plus it was second hand, however, for a second hand knife, it is, by my standards at least, in excellent condition.

But if you have the money spare, and don't mind a larger folder ( I think that this is a good medium size), then pick one up if you can, I don't think you won't like it. Also if you don't mind a black coated blade, and tbh I wouldn't have cared if mine was black coated, I think there are a few for sale as well.

@nevermind35 - have you used it outdoors yet - what did you think of it not, like obviously its not as strong as a FB, but frmo all the reviews I've read, its meant to be bloody tough.

I will definately look into buying one.
I hope to be atleast $330 richer tomorrow.. Selling my motorbike :)

nice, I know I could do with an extra 330 bucks, man it sucks being poor :grumpy:

Nice pics ! I've 2 full size Rukus, one with a satin edge but without the blackwood logo... so I bought a sbk version with it !

This knife is almost perferct

Now The Rukus is my edc knife in the winter... Spyderco military in the summer, ZT 302 in the autumn, Fallkniven PXL IM in the spring :)

hahaha nice tsuba, a knife for each season.
I hope to keep it that way, and not starting to get into the "a different knife for each month" thing

I got a 615 as a gift from my wife. I wanted a 610, so, ultimately, I bought one - great pocketable bushcraft knife!

My wife went back to my local B-M 'pusher' before Christmas - they made her a deal on an auto mini - #6150 (Legal to own here - illegal to carry in some cities.). Oddly, they still had 610's & 615's in stock earlier this week - ~$170-$190. Anyway, here are my 'trio' of the Rukus family:

While I appreciate my wife's presents, the 6150 realistically is a display case or drawer sitter. It has a bit of recoil upon deploying it, too. Interesting, but not my most useful knife. Love the other two - great knives, equally useful. although different missions.
