BM Mini Skirmish Washers

Having a Mini Skirm incoming the next days I just found this older thread to my consternation.
What has ridden BM putting nylon washers on that thing? :confused:
Now my hope is,if they might have upgraded it to bronze washers recently.
Can anybody with a newer one verify on this?

I can understand that if a blade is off center enough that it actually scrapes the blade on the liner in a folder - that's a problem. In terms of being a useable tool - why would I care if the blade is noticably to one side or the other of not quit center? Lining up lock components I can see as critical - don't understand the need for centering?
BTW- have had years long daily use out of knives with "plastic" (nylon or Teflon) washers - easy part to replace if it does wear out.
 
There's no good permanent fix, unless you buy a sebenza.

Bronze will help because they won't squish like the teflon ones will.
 
I've just bought a mini, my washers are not bronze, maybe teflon. but the action is smooth and the blade is centered .
