Well, when you’re not carrying them, it’s time to let them go. Basic details:
  • All prices are for PayPal G&S with the knife shipped first class to CONUS destinations.
  • If you are paying from an overseas PayPal account (but want to ship to CONUS), please add 1.5%, since PayPal charges extra.
  • Generally, the first person to unconditionally claim a knife publicly and then promptly follow up with a PM and payment gets the knife, though I reserve the right to sell to whom I please. “I will take it, pending question answered” is not unconditionally.
  • Thank you, but no trades at this time.
Here are the knives:

Benchmade 570 Presidio II. SOLD. LNIB. Catch-and-release from a member who sold it as BNIB. I’m classifying it was LNIB because I took off the pocket clip (and later put it back on, for the pictures here), oiled the Axis lock (without disassembling the knife, with some Daiwa Reel Oil), and cut an orange rind off of an orange to see how the knife felt in hand. The knife is too hardcore for me; I don’t need anything nearly that beefy.

Griptilian 551-1. $145. I’m almost sure I bought this LNIB. Then I got a limited edition one in carbon fiber, so I didn’t need this one, anymore. (I was going to pay for fancy scales for this one, like I did with my Ritter Grip.) I haven’t used this knife.

Spyderco Hungarian. $119. Catch and release. Used knife with light scratches on the bolsters but a(n almost) perfect blade. In other words, it’s used, but it’s not a user. From the Taichung factory. I absolutely love the look of the handle and the blade, and the steel is CTS-XHP(!), but there are two ergo sins that bother me. Unfortunately, I have not had time to Dremel this knife to make it perfect for me.
