BM Spike Info needed.....

i recently got a BM spike, large model, combo edge, not an auto - what model is this?? a 1000S?(didnt come w/a box) what yr was production started/halted?? any other tid bits about the knife???

any/all info much appreciated........

The 1000/1000S are the auto versions. The manual Spike is the 650/650S and the manual mini-Spike is the 640/640S. I don't know the dates.

Any other tid bits? Well, you aleady know it's pointy ... :D
 
Made 5-7 years ago. Model #650. designed by Phil Boguszewski. Aluminium frame,steel liners and ats-34 blade. Not the greatest EDU since its very pointy. Nice knife though glad you posted this cause I just took it out of my knife drawer where it has sat in its box for several years and think I will carry it again,
