BM Steel handles

I hope that BM decides to give that SS option just so I can see what you guys are talking about. I just got my first bali in the mail yesterday--a bm43, and I just love the feel of it. Then again, my only comparisons are to the cheapos that I played with as a kid and the zamak handled pac cutlery that I just acquired. SS must be something special the way you guys rave about it.

Have a BM custom and a pre 45 plus a 35. 68 is in a vault. Both the Custom and 35 are somewhere between here and Oregon. Let you know when I get them back.:D

Okay guys, I don't even care about touching any of them but we should hang out sometime!;) As I was telling Mykl on instant messanger, I'm going camping at the Guadelupe June 8-9, anyone is welcome (and incouraged!;) ) to join us!

I don't want to see this topic die just yet...

Steel handles are a must have

and Cain I'll be there bali swinging;)

As you know, the Guadelupe is a long river, Where exactly on the Guadelupe? BTW remember the flood of '98? Have a friend who owned a house on the river. Now she owns a concrete slab on the river. I Have also lost two 68's and one Puma in the Guadelupe. :D

wow so some lucky bastid could just be hiking along the river and have the happiest day in MY life.

Considering the flood of '98, those knives are probably in the Gulf by now. Along with many houses, boats and autos. Now THAT was a flood!!!:)

Even to their way to Norway! :D I gotta move longer north in the country, since that's where the Gulf hits... Start fishing in the shore. ;)

well you probably are right that it may get to you IX but it will probably travel the artic current first so it will take rough 2000 yrs to get to you.

I don't think it's 2000 years... But in geography last years I think we learned that the water from the Gulf to Norway would use close to 100 years or something, I think... If I'm not completely wrong.
It's a good thing I'm still young! ;) :p :D

Well actually, I was refering to the artic current (the water is colder therefore more dense)that flows under the gulf stream. It flows much slower and in the opposite direction. Eventually it ends up in the PO and is finally warmed enough to become part of the gulf stream and move much faster back towards the AO.
