Any one have any experience with the new Benchmade hawk? It's the only tomahawk locally available and I was impressed by it's balance and construction. I'm just a little worried about spending nearly $300.00 on a hawk that has little to no feedback.
 
Buh...too much weight in the handle for me. That just contributes to making it slow and "dead" in the hand. It's very well built...but the design leaves something to be desired, at least for me.
 
For $300.00 you can get a great hand forged hawk made by some great makers on here.

All right I picked one up today. Got it at a steel and couldn't pass it up. I will use it for a few weeks and give a review. Thank you for the comments.
