I whined, and I begged, and I even sneaked around. No dice!

I would take exception to that and say that the coated SARs were CG.
 
The Nuclear EDC had a Custom Shop logo but it's every bit as CG as a Fire Warden and the price seemed pretty CG also.
 
They were under a $1000 for the pair and get a SAR in the next Ganza, it's close to a SFNO for $287 plus shipping.
All I know is that my pack weighted 72 lbs coming home and that was after I took 4 bottles of Patron out of it, when I left the house it weighted 62 lbs that including the booze, 6 limes and salt.

Voxhog told me in his sale thread the '08 FSH SE was only 0.265" thick! :grumpy:
 
Yep, that's the opening I thought was at 3:00:grumpy: Got there right when it had ended.

Still got a FSH SE from a friendly Hog:thumbup:

The FSH SE is not a HOG like last years. Mine is .274
 
I am pretty darn sure that the SE FSH and FBM are not HOGs. They are roughly around .270 or so which I actually prefer. But I am sure Jason will come along and tell me Go FAT or Go Home ;)
 
They are both I think.

THe handles are fatter and instantly tapers:):)

I thought the same til I saw em in person. An after seeing Garth's Grand Piano in a Rowe zebra.....Then I thought those are as close as I'll get.

so I got the whole set:eek::eek::D

The 2008 FBM SE I got is clearly thinner than an LE.

The 2008 FSH SE I got was about the same thickness as the 2008 FBM SE.

I saw the 2007 FSH SE last year and it was much thicker than what I got this year, it's not even close.

I still would not mind somehow getting a FSH SE 08 because I had wanted a satin one for a while.. Looking at a picture really does not do it justice.
The only way I can really decide weather I like a paticular blade is by holding it...I not disreguarding this one yet.. weeeell seee....
The nuclear edc is one I do want to grab for sure:thumbup:

Hey Bro! You need to have them specs checked out :p LOL! Eyeing the thickness is never as reliable as calipers :D
