Does anybody know exactly when they are coming out? I looked at BM's webpage last night. I don't want to have to wait until April!!! Also, are they only coming out with the skeletonized handles or are there going to be other options like inserts? I'd really appreciate any info that someone has about these. BM's page doesn't give you a lot of info. Thanks.

April is the last I heard also about them being released. Your not alone...Its killing me waiting for this one! I just got the new Benchmade catalog yesterday and they look great. The catalog says that other blade styles will be offered later in the year that can be switched with the Weehawk one it comes with. Ive already got my name on a waiting list!

I got my BM2K catalog in the mail! The model 42 certainly caught my eye..but I'd have to actually hold one and try it out.

I've never held a butterfly knife before! doh! Is it hard to learn?

Basic balisong manipulation isn't that hard to learn. I've never failed to teach anyone who made any effort at least a few simple tricks. I taught three people in about ten minutes just the other day. Just wanted to warn you of the dangers of getting a balisong habit...

I got my first bali when i was 11-12, it hasn't stopped since...now i'm nearly 28 and have scars on ALL my fingers(and some toes, arms and back)all from balisong "play"...
