BM710S rough release button

Hello, I just got a new Axis and I LOVE it! It is such a great knife. The only question I have is if anyone has noticed that their release stud seems kind of rough on the thumb? It seems like the step downs machined into the stud left it a little sharp around the edges. I like to play with mine a lot and can make my thumb a little sore when flicking open and closed.
I know with time it will wear smoother but I was just curious if any others had noticed this. Thanks, JP

Hello pepsiholic, IMHO the ruffness gives your thumd a better grip. When one thumb is too sore switch hands. You should become as good with both hands. I am doing better right handed. Only cut myself once. I flicked it down with my ring finger in the path of the blade. OUCH!

I agree, it does provide a good purchase for operation. I guess 2000 openings may be a bit much for one evening! Ha Ha
