I bought a 710 in D2 about month ago. It is a great knife, in fact it is my weekend EDC (too big for the office). Yes the blae is uncoated, it is a satin finish. Steven

Benchmade will shrink the ratio between high ends and low budget knives... meaning more budget (probably overseas knives) and less of the higher quality american made knives... buckle your seat belts.
