Bought this knife since I've been interested in the Manix 2 since it came out. However, I think the locking mechanism is not as easy to manipulate as I'd like . I.e. it is stiffer than I hoped it would be as I'm used to compression locks. The good news, the lock has to be really strong on this model.

All is well, blade centering, smooth action, etc. No carry time, use or sharpening either.
