Hello Members,

This is a BNIB MT Whaleshark in CTS-204p. The blade is stonewashed, centered, and has a solid lockup.
Asking $375.00 +3%. Paypal and ConUS only. The knife ships Priority insured, with delivery confirmation.

I have other MTs in CTS-204p. The Socom Elite is one. CrimsonTideShooter posted a video demonstrating the
edge retention of a Socom Elite in 20CV by cutting 8-9 feet of 3/8 manilla rope, and then cutting phone book paper
cleanly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhzgvzK2uIM At the end of the test, he said that it was now in top position,
beating out S90V.

Since the alloy compositions are nearly identical in these steels, I assume they are Heat treated the same, and that
you might get S90V edge retention from this higher Rockwell CTS-204p.
I have a black bladed version that is very lightly used if anyone is interested.

Thanks,
eodtoad

I am interested in the Socoms. Any interest in trades? Did not get pics of the 20cv knife. ....Or at least could not open them.

Hello Members,

ZT 0888 for sale. It's sterile/virgin/BNIB. It's flawless, and only opened for photos. I'm selling to recoup the money I spent on a Kel-Tec KSG.
The knife has perfect blade centering, super smooth action, early lockup, and a great detent. First I'll take it, gets it.

Asking $975.00 +3%. Ships Priority insured, with signature confirmation to ConUS only. Paypal only. I regret selling this as I type.
Just PM Me with any questions.

Thanks,
eodtoad/Brian

Can't trade right now, I'm trying to recoup the money I spent on a Kel-Tec KSG shotgun. I don't have the Socom in 20cv, I was highlighting how well it did in CrimsonTideShooter's rope cut test. The reason I was highlighting it is because CTS-204p, M390, and 20cv are practically identical in their alloy content. So this steel should perform just like MT's 20cv, which beat out S90V in the above mentioned test. The link is there to the youtube vid. The results are very impressive.
Thanks,
Happy Thanksgiving.
