BOAR Update

By the way, can't wait to see this! That MOABolo looks a lot smaller in Nathan's hand than it would in mine, lol.
 
I've been waiting for this to finally get finished! If it shows up in a theater around here I will have to check it out, otherwise Redbox or Amazon will have to suffice.

Wow I can honestly say that this is the only movie I look forward to seeing this year. Hollywood could learn a thing or two. Okay maybe Avengers or Star Wars. At least I'll save money to get more Infi.

Theatrics of the trailer aside, it resonated for me. People around here are pretty much like that.

The scene near the end with him running through the pine trees in the dark made me think of a night hunt I did a week ago that seemed very similar. It was 2 or 3 in the morning and the dog had a boar, and chased it for about 1km through the forest. We had to run through a pine plantation to get to it. I can remember branches slapping me in the head the whole way, with everything pitch black except the tree trunks in your head torch light as you got close to them. The boar ran into a huge old blackberry bush, like 15 or 20 metres across and 3 metres high and the dog was in there too. All you could hear was screaming, barking and the blackberries rustling and shaking in the darkness.

Boar on the right (turns out it was only an adolescent) and a sow on the left...

Massive thanks to elof_alv and Andy the Aussie for the awesome sheath. Two were made. This one is the actual screen used one. The other was a backup, and I have no idea where it is. Probably in a box with a bunch of other costume props in a storage shed somewhere.

Below are the 4 knives Jerry made for the film. Two INFI, and two aluminium stunt doubles. The SPFX dept also made a couple of resin versions, as well as a couple of handle only versions for action sequences. The other INFI and aluminium knives are probably in that same props box as mentioned earlier.

If those are before and after pics, you're pretty damn handy with that Busse!
